The Telecommunications Division oversees matters relating to postal services, telecommunications and ICT. The has the following responsibilities:
- Telecommunications Policy and Act
- Modernization of the Post Office
- Telecom licences recommended by the Office of Utilities Regulation (OUR)
- Spectrum licences recommended by the Spectrum Management Authority
- ICT Indicators (statistics)
- Coordination of Jamaica's participation in all Postal Services, Telecommunications and ICT fora on the Regional and International Levels
