The Telecommunications Division oversees matters relating to postal services, telecommunications and ICT. The has the following responsibilities:

• Telecommunications Policy and Act
• Modernization of the Post Office
• Telecom licences recommended by the Office of Utilities Regulation (OUR)
• Spectrum licences recommended by the Spectrum Management Authority
• ICT Indicators (statistics)
• Coordination of Jamaica's participation in all Postal Services, Telecommunications and ICT fora on the Regional and International Levels
