This project is in collaboration with the Jamaican Government through the Ministry of Mining, Energy and Telecommunications (MEMT). The project is tended to contribute to Jamaica's preparation to the e-readiness programs and also support the development of the Information and Communication Technology (ICT) sectors .

Under the Jamaica Customs Modernisation Programme online entry payment (ePayment) system launched in July 2003.
Further facilitates import duty payments by brokers and importers, speed up processing time for import transactions and allow for online checking of entry status.
It has a positive effect on over 4,000 customs transactions per week and contributes to the widening of the tax base, improvement in the efficiency of tax administration and ease of compliance with tax requirements.

E-Land Jamaica provides Internet access to selected land information maintained by the National Land Agency (NLA). Subscribers to the services can view and print documents from approximately 380,000 scanned Certificates of Title, 1,500 Strata and 4,400 Deposit Plans.
E-land Jamaica will play a major role in the NLA’s thrust towards improving service delivery generally.

Launched enhanced Website with new registration services and e-commerce capabilities.
It enhances the ORC’s goals of supporting commercial activities and assisting individuals and businesses to exploit business ideas and explore wealth-creating opportunities. It will also improve the ORC’s ability to monitor the operations of commercial entities, thus enabling the Government to better protect the wider society from unfair practices and the excesses of these organizations. Includes:
- Business name search
- The ability to bill per transaction undertaken by a subscriber
- Facilitates online registration of company documents such as registered office notices, particulars of directors and change of directors.
- The site will offer online Company name reservation as soon as the Companies Bill is enacted into law.

On November 1, 2003, MIND started an Internet-based Associate Degree programme. Over 100 students from the public and private sectors have registered and started the first two modules. This alternative training option is reflective of the global direction of adult learning. Research findings indicate that the .
Internet is a practicable additional channel for reaching their main target market, namely, management personnel at all levels through MIND Online, training will be delivered directly to the individual homes and offices of managers, at times that are convenient to them.
